Day 10 of #Mermay2019! Today's #Creature_Feature #mermay prompt from @ZestyDoesThings was #marlin, and I got to pick what feature it'd have. I went with ice, and...it was a challenge to try and sort that ice out with colored pencils. More #Traditionalart because of work.

Day 8 of #Mermay2019! Today's #Creature_Feature #mermay prompt from @ZestyDoesThings was #goblinshark. I rolled element, and then rolled storm. Considering...there aren't many storms underwater, I went with hydrothermal vents! Had to include that #lightning for fun!

Day 7 of #Mermay2019! Today's #Creature_Feature #mermay prompt from @ZestyDoesThings was #walrus. I rolled human again, but wanted to draw something simpler since my energy levels are lower. I decided that this merwalrus knits! It must get chilly in those waters, after all...

Day 6 of #Mermay2019. Today's #Creature_Feature #mermay prompt from @ZestyDoesThings was sea turtle! I rolled human, and my first take was very different with the end result, but it was a nice challenge! So please, take my aquatic teenage mutant ninja turtle. With knives.

Day 5 of #Mermay2019. I was at work today, so that meant a traditional drawing. Today's #Creature_Feature #mermay prompt was albino arowana, and I FINALLY rolled human! It was a hard one to do with limited colored pencils, but I'm getting better at inking traditionally.

Day 4 of #Mermay2019. Today's #Creature_Feature #mermay prompt was #greatwhiteshark, and I rolled the element of darkness. It's nice to be back to the spooky realm of things, and it was nice to go with something simpler, too.

I just made it for day 3 of #Mermay2019! Today's #Creature_Feature #mermay was octopus, and I rolled another mammal. This time, @ZannyHyper picked the mammal. To quote my brother: "My expectations were not high, but nonetheless, they were met." Please enjoy the "sea monkey!" 😉

Day 2 of #Mermay2019, and the #Creature_Feature #mermay prompt list. Of course, I had my tablet today, and it wound up silly. Today was Cherry Barb, and I rolled mammal, so I asked my brother which mammal it should be! So. Please take this hippopotamus mermaid, and cherish him.

So I've been watching #Moominvalley and it's so nice to see characters from my childhood on the screen and just...adorable. I drew some of my favorites,and I'd like to draw more soon as I sort of figure out a comfortable style for everyone. Except the Moomins. I got that!
