So a random train of thought hit about sequels that utterly ruined the previous films before them. And by that I mean made them unwatchable because you know the message is pointless (even the SW sequels couldn't do that thank god)

Everyone's giddy about Sonic vs Knuckles and I'm just here hoping the film does good enough so we can get Metal Sonic on the big screen.

A closer look at @waa153's assaultron design here, the head plates actually wouldn't be too hard to reshape like this and then just duplicate the laser lens for the eyes.
