My tip is that foundations are everything in art. Take extra time to flesh out your sketches, maybe sketch it twice with the first sketch as a base for your pieces and the rest will be smooth sailing

A piece that was my personal crowning achievement when I graduated art school. I've always wanted to draw an anime piece that would be on par with the artists I've always admired on pixiv and I feel that I'm slowly getting closer now.
