Until you're near something, you can't make out details in shadow
It has let me do some super fun stuff so far with encounter design
fixed an infuriating bug today where for some reason NPCs would drive floating above the hood of the car
turns out when I put them in the car, they would quickly c l i m b o u t
this thing is meant to be for reference pose / onion skinning / animation mirroring, but it's still in the whoa what a sweet effect stage
I chose kicks for melee attacks because they felt more 80s but it's great how well they work when you're lugging your gear about
ok, needs polish but you can use vans to get to otherwise inaccessible places, so I'm happy
