#doitagain Designed as a play mat but definitely a glow up from the original, done in 2010 (following tweet) I might do a Shiny version at some point too, if there’s interest. #pokemon
Collab with @skulldog who did the (very cool) sketch and I added colour. (Left is original sketch on a grey background because I can’t see well on white)
Not sure if the ‘sunset’ wave works for this. Original idea was a ‘water tube’ effect
Trying out Procreates watercolour brushes and a simple round brush and it’s working well, if not slower than what I had planned. It’s got a kind of Art Deco vibe to it?
Happy #PokemonDay! I had grand plans to finish up some new art but that kind of fell through! But here’s some visual love letters to my favourite franchise!
Tweaked the sketch and did lighter base values and I’m liking this a lot more. https://t.co/S4UfRAOWxX
Think I’ve hit the sunk cost fallacy. Yes, I’ve put a lot of time into this but I’m not happy with the result. Might just start a new layer and go from the sketch again.
I was going for that rainbow sheen tempered monsters have but it’s not working for me :p
Been digging through old art files and I think this one could use a glow up
As much as it would be cool to by a gym leader in the Pokémon universe, I’d more likely be that weird artist that paints five million pictures of buff Arceus (bonus buff Zinogre WIP too)
