i don't want to get too much into the details but makoto ends up being chased by some.. cops.. and has to run away, and this sequence has some sick character animation.. this would've been an excellent time to know how to make GIFS but ALAS...!!! i do not know how

the foreigner is laurent, and i dunno man i love characters like this? like, relaxed smiley dudes.. anyway, makoto does this wallet switcharoo con, acting like the foreigner dropped his wallet. laurent rewards him with some $$ from the wallet glomps him and leaves.. ;__;

makoto's feeling great, feeling on top of shit, so with the help of his lil ol' partner man who looks kinda like a monkey, he tries to con a foreigner.. and shit this guy shows up, i know i'm absolutely done for

the characters are really cute... makoto is the protag of Los Angeles Connection, the first case. he's cocky and smug and thinks he's the best con artist in japan for some reason. but yeah u do u, boy. also man these bg's are rad af
