Finally got this done.
It takes place right after Gooey crash-landed on Popstar. They're waiting for Kirby and Rick to come back with medicine.
Blob...Female Gooey...Pink Gooey...whatever you want to call her.
She shows up in western versions of DL2. I've even drawn her a few times before. https://t.co/L0slcPuNa2

Blade: The Dark Curse.
The true villain of Kirby's adventure, he was once a lonely young man who wanted friends. But after years of neglect, he'd gotten rid of his own face and became the Dark Curse.
It's up to Kirby to decide if he wants to save him or not.
Since it's still #DonkeyKong40 , I figured I'd share some of my old art involving the franchise (including one involving the arcade era)
@Velvetpainterr I've drawn Gooey in Blade form before, but aside from that form older Gooey is just Gooey but bigger.
// TW Blood.
Drew that one scene from DL3. Also, Gooey isn't dead. Just knocked out.
Marx: The Energetic Imp
He was supposed to meet Magolor in Neksdor, but he managed to get himself lost in the Realm of the Fey. Because of this, he stayed at an inn until Kirby and his friends found him.
Out of the Fab Fairies, he admires Vividria for her energy.
Sectonia: The Kind Flower.
Once upon a time there was a queen. But when her ambitions got the better of her, she fell along with her kingdom. She now joins Kirby in his quest so that she can atone for her crimes.
Out of the Fab Fairies, she admires Paintra for her kind nature.
Adeleine: The Cautious Princess.
A wannabe Princess who wandered the woods until she found Kirby. She'd been searching for the Elven Retreat, as she heard stories about a trio of sisters that protected the realm.
She seems to admire Lady Drawcia for her elegance and grace.
