Wrapped up the Chimera today. Loved the colors used in his original design so I stuck with those same colors for the most part.

Here's one from digging deep into the archives. Painted this when I was first seeking to enter into the tabletop gaming field. Tieflings are up there as one of my favorite fantasy races. Someday I'll get commissioned to actually paint one for a job.

Heavy metal inspired dwarf painted for my Patrons.

When a client asked if me if I was interested in drawing a heavy-metal-inspired warhammer-wielding dwarf bard with flaming bag pipes YES was the only answer.

The World of Warcraft Priest is ready for raiding. Finished the commission up this week and delivered the final high rez art, high rez drawing, and process guide to my Patrons showing each step of illustration process.

The elven druid with her budding horns and serpent familiar join the adventure party. As this particular species of elves age their wooden horns grow longer each season, budding, then wilting in the winter, and growing anew each spring.

The gnome chef makes his way into the adventure party illustration. Never leaves on a quest without his trusty cleaver; good for both carving up enemies as well as dissembling monsters for the stew pot.

The Boss Monster is ready in time for Halloween. Ready to pull in any careless adventurer that strays too close and drag them in to their doom.

Here's the process I was experimenting with on the painting into four stages:
1.Background blocked
2. Flat in major shapes
3. 'Multiply' in the shadows
4. Bring in the light and detail.
