@le_sh1n I don't know about that! For example, I am super proud of my latest piece, and the idea for it came to me thanks to experiments with AI. :D The piece is 100% illustrated by me, but the AI helped inspire the concept.

@SubwwayM Hell yes! I did the same recently, too:

@jackie_w_design Right??? Like, fuck, I used AI (and talked about how) as the inspiration for my most recent piece. AI is a WONDERFUL tool (my Midjourney generation and my full illustration below!!).

Just be transparent, ffs.

@Punk_2070 Artists should ABSOLUTELY embrace it as a tool! Here's an example, my brother generated this AI image using Midjourney, and, using it as inspiration, I redrew it from the ground up. It was such an exciting experiment!

Do you know I occasionally use AI for reference, and as a starting point to inspire the direction of my pieces? It often takes a lot of tweaking to get the vibe I want...

Or sometimes, my little brother just does it for me. 🤣 So this is almost kind of a collab? (WIP, obvi.)
