Not to mention that the Doom Patrol has one of the most cool yet unsung villains of all time, The Animal-Vegetable-Mineral Man!

Many may feel differently, and they did as Doom Patrol didn't last nowhere as long X-Men or has the marquee value, though a giant killer jukebox does have a lot of appeal.

When the silent films portrayed evil it truly looked evil and otherworldly.

@westonfront @TheBurnham Same goes for the unfortunately defunct DC Showcase Presents line which had comics that probably would not likely see the light of day get reprinted, and that beautiful line work got to be displayed(I am a sucker for Joe Kubert).

Incredible Hulk #140 "The Brute That Shouted Love at the Heart of the Atom!" A story so nice(by Harlan Ellison) that he had to do it twice(kinda)!

Hulk goes to a strange new world, becomes a hero, is betrothed to the queen, until that's ruined.
