"IN SHAME--
--WE MARCH."
Pages from '300' by Frank Miller and Lynn Varley
In some alternate universe instead of introducing the Fourth World characters in Superman's Pal Jimmy Olsen, Jack Kirby published it himself. Along with Kamandi, The Demon, and OMAC all the while keeping the rights.
The X-Men, back when they were trying to rehab Sabretooth art by Mark Texeira.
This is some High T art.
The fake poster for a Leonardo DiCaprio starring Spider-man movie by Brian Stelfreeze.
Funnily enough it was one of of DiCaprio's best buds, Tobey Maguire that'd get the role.
The character, Blue Marvel comes off as a bad Deviantart 'OC please don't steal'/self insert and in no way has any organic "Marvel" feel to him outside the name "Marvel" making up his title.
Though at least the first issue had a good looking Ms. Marvel by Mat Broome.
@megagears All of them are pretty good, the best is the Wildcats/X-men Golden Age with the Travis Charest art, but the others are Jim Lee, Adam Hughes, and Mat Broome & Brett Booth. There is a TPB that collects all four books, Golden, Silver, Modern, and Dark Age's.
@PLBCOMICS A lot of the design work has no style, even back then when it was a mediocre comic they'd at least make it look good like this ad for The Ray that DC did.
Happy hunting! There's some TPB's/HC's that collect the early stuff mostly. May have to dig for the Mask/Pinhead crossovers.
@doommega212 Indeed, as does Casshern, loved the popped collar look to it along with the suit/helmet design.
Liz is shocked! Shocked I tell you. Well, maybe not that shocked.
