This is one of my recent pieces I loved doing! My version of Perrin Aybara. I got the textures to behave, and even the wolves to behave.

Attempt number 3! Getting closer but I think I'll try a different pose tomorrow. Painting the same 3 times in 3 days is a bit much.

Today's study done!

Doing another weekend study, figured I'd post the progress! Trying a different approach, doing a wash in before applying color. Keeping the same portrait as yesterday. I figure if I vary up the approaches on the same thing I can zero in on what's working/what's not.

It's around this point where I start thinking too much. Maaaan. Good enough study, but now I need to rethink my approach.
