i love how the movie shows everyone’s reactions AND the scoreboard during murase’s extremely raw yell. the crowd blinks & wonders if karasuno won but no, hinata is just so overjoyed he got kenma to say “tanoshii~” that his expression at that was greater than simply winning

plus, if he lost he wouldn’t be able to face his final boss, shouyou 🤭

the haikyuu dumpster battle movie made this scene from their earlier nationals match so much more meaningful too. kenma will put in effort because he genuinely cares for his friends 🥺

curious if this part was translated poorly for the movie or if the wording really was shortened / cut short. notes to self to check later.

i do kinda wish they kept this in bc it would honestly have been such a short quick little passing comment that would’ve helped bolster kenma’s cunning way of taking advantage of hinata’s improvement but welp it can’t be helped :’D
