Also hey, remember how Marvel was teasing Mutant Zero was Jean Grey/Madelyne Pryor then it turned out to be Typhoid Mary insulting everyone

Trauma and Thor girl was an amazing ship tease at the time that broke my heart since she was a Skrull and the real Tarene didn't care about Terrence.

So we don't actually hit a full on cover of the main cast members until nearly a year in at issue 10!

The first cover to really be stand alone of the characters is 7 but even that one is of the Scarlet Spider's and their whole shtick was looking like Peter's Civil War design and was in a way a trick as well.

Y'know in retrospect it's actually amazing how little focus the new characters in The Avengers The Initiative comic series, aka its main characters, were given in comparison to established Avengers and other event stuff now that I look at the covers again

@Sean42AZ Avengers The Initiative even though like the later Avengers Academy it was almost as much about the adults as the teens.
