🚫Mei:
I really do not like the three loose strands in her hair. They just don’t work for me. They look like some sort of tendrils or alien antennas. I think she’d be a lot prettier if her hair was either all down or all up. This weird in-between doesn’t work for her

✅Mei:
I’m obsessed with Mei’s cat-like pupils! There is no other Love Live girl with uniquely-shaped pupils like this. It’s certainly an interesting design choice, but it works! Not only does it help to show why people find her scary-looking, but it connects to her love of cats!

🚫Kinako:
I can not stand the Rem-and-Ram-style light gradient in her bangs. There are two other Liella! members with straight bangs, and neither of them have this gradient. It sticks out like a sore thumb and she would be better off without it

Additionally, here is my second entry: I call it “Natsu Oni” Oninatsu!!
“Natsu” means summer, and an oni is a type of Japanese demon (or ‘devil’). So I thought it would be a cool approach to the theme!
Unfortunately, I was unable to finish the design in time :(

I chose to draw Chisato! My best girl 🥺
The vibe I was going for was a sort of… sporty, yet gothic succubus. I felt it suited her energetic personality!
