First few days of plein airpril spent in my courtyard with the poor plants that survive by the grace of Sydney's lush weather.

I used to think these little frames were for artists taking themselves too seriously but they are in fact hella useful in giving yourself points of reference when drawing from life. You just have to come to terms with feeling like a bit of dweeb when using them.
