For my patreon walkthrough this month I'm going to talk a bit about some of my approaches and tips when painting skies and clouds, using some new paintings as examples.
Sun and shade on a creek. The scratchy brush didn't quite work for the caustics in the water, I need to play around more with ways to suggest them I think.

While I've done a lot of figure drawing over the years, I've always struggled with clothes and recently made the quite obvious connection that it's because everyone I draw is naked. So I took a bunch of dorky photos of myself on the couch in my favourite flappy pants.
