This painting is a serious achievement for me. The process I used was slower and gentler, and I think I was able to preserve the beauty and purity of her and the colors.

I also think I captured her fierce gaze well.

I love how this turned out, but on the other hand I can see all my inaccuracies.

I think I may challenge myself to have another go at this one, but this time aim for higher accuracy and perhaps less impressionism.

As I mentioned, I don’t love the end result too much. The values are out of wack, and there isn’t a real sense of depth.

Done! And this one has A LOT to improve 😂

The main thing I notices was that the ENTIRETY of each flower should be significantly lighter.

I’ll probably do a detailed pencil study as a preparation for another attempt. Wish me luck! 😉🎨
