10-shading. because this is the lazy person's quick doodle method just go ahead and use a multiply layer on low opacity. i like to use layer effects to tint the layer a color and use black brushes. its lazy but effective [8/10]

9-colors. i can't tell you how to do this because i'm very haphazard w/ it but you probably have a routine. go for it. as you see in this image I keep the "base" layer selected usually (ctrl+click the layer thumbnail in both clip and PS for this) [7/10]

yesterday I found the time/energy for a little sketchbook doodle and then gussying it up digitally. since twitter timestamps told me I did the digital portion in 22m, and since it took me a long time to get to slapping it out in 22m, I thought I'd do a mini tutorial [1/10]

well I burnt the crap outta my dominant hand so I probably won't be drawing for a while (I'm gonna explode) but luckily I finished this before that happened.
