on another multiply layer, i pick a bright coral color n paint in the blush then blur it and lower the opacity a lot (like 30% ish). then i add in the highlights using a rlly light yellow color on a normal layer.
then on a multiply layer, i pick a pinkish purple n darken the darkest parts (?) then i turn the opacity down to like 50-60%
next, i pick a medium brown color n, with a rake brush, i just add in some texture wherever i want i don’t rlly have a method for this 😭
n now for the last n best part!!! on an overlay layer, i use the skin color to brighten the highlights and the hair’s complementary color to darken the shadows n then i blur it a bit. this reaaaally enhances the hair n brings it all together imo <3
next i use the skin color and kinda paint a big circle on an overlay layer n blur it a bunch?? it just brightens up the hair near the face n gives it a sort of glow.
next, i pick a darker color and start to render in chunks! i jus follow the direction of the arrows i drew and then clean it up w the same base color. then i pick a lighter color and add in the highlights. atp i delete the line art cus i don’t need it anymore.
📍HAIR
first, i start w a rough sketch of the hair. i put arrows to show the direction of the hair strands n i base my rendering off that! after that, i fill everything completely w the base color.
