A thread on an amazing pair of shoes I’ve seen in the @ColMuseums stores today. These shoes were made by Excelsior and retailed by F Thurston & son, Colchester. The velvet embroidered shoes would have been perfectly shown off with the shorter hem lengths of the mid 1920s.
