Also. For better or worse (and feel free to roll your eyes at this) I'm start a (gulp) newsletter. I think it might be fun? I started out with blogging in 2007 so hopefully it'll be nice to go back?

I have three new prints in my shop PLUS a pack of two cards for the looming wintery holiday (it's too soon, it's too soon).
you can order a copy here if you're interested. You might say I'm catastrophically biased but I think it's a gem. https://t.co/ysaUKCPZI3
I have ten (and only ten) of these giclee prints from Alison. They're signed and numbered and available from my shop.
A little bit more from @edbookfest . Sleepy, summery scenes plus something a bit more poetic from PJ Harvey and Raymond Antrobus.
Some sketchbook stuff from my last day @edbookfest including Jessie Burton, Amy Liptrot and Torrey Peters.
'Alison' takes place in the late 70s, through the 80s. Whilst I wasn't there, some my family were so I used a few of their photos in the illustrations. Here, my Mum in Trafalgar Sq in her late teens & my Grandma (also an Alison) & a v patterned room plus the illos they spawned.
I sat down to paint something earlier this week and was trying to think about how I was feeling in relation to book coming out and I painted this woman holding a chicken in her skirt. Which may, or may not, be how I feel. I'm not sure.
