This piece is called "Juicy Thoughts" in so small part because it began with a scan of pieces of an orange. The blue rendition shows where it stands today, 15 years later...and still in progress.

This is now a finished work of art. It took longer than expected, and yet now that it's done, I have little recollection of that time at all.

This has been my weekend art...reworking something I did about 4 years ago now...the first image is the older version.

The last stage in this particular creation will be layering in some texture, though inevitably that will at least slightly alter the color, contrast and tone of it.

@the_lillith Thank you! And by experience, when start to play with one of my more 'raw' pieces, well it's always an adventure in paradise...I even got in without a ticket! lol

I'm really pleased to say this is now complete.

after a few subtle but worthy changes...

pretty much done...at least to this point...I consider this to be a "keeper" now, but as always I'll play with it a little more.
