i'm lockii, self-taught since 2012, and have recently unlocked the ancient wizardry known as backgrounds!

i'm gonna tag my gf @MoistVaporeon because she draws sick-ass dragons and needs more love 🎉

something i've learned from redoing my old work is that while my anatomy and overall ability has improved since, i still have the same rules for framing, posing, and scene layout i used to and i find that really interesting!
the ideas from these 2018 shots are still so good!
