I think that an underrated aspect of the promotional art is how sometimes the artists respect the details from each era, such as the rounder features from early DB or the bigger SS hair without lines from the Freeza arc.

I appreciate this sort of variety in the franchise

Goku being a loving father and grandfather is one of my favorite things about his character, it makes him really endearing

I feel like that glare was lost shortly after the Freeza saga and it was instead replaced by more intense expressions.

I think that the closest thing we got to that old glare was Masunaga's work during the Boo saga and some shots of Ultra Instinct Goku

These spikes on the back of the head look a little basic to me
