One thing do really enjoy is how the anime blends some of the series' really classic Tezuka-esque character designs with ones more characteristic of the 2000's. Detective Hanpei and Etsuko are pretty great here
Pretty good day today. Woke up early having had plenty of sleep, got a solid morning workout, and everything went pretty well on the new job. Overall, not too bad.
As fun as underdog anime are, the longer they run there will come a point where that appeal might wear off. Which is why I'm kinda drawn more towards stories where the protagonist is written to be strong or even OP but encounter weaknesses they can't overcome with strength alone.
Reddit weebs pride themselves on edgy, gatekeep-y behavior, but the only thing that offends me is that it's all in the name of shounen anime and seasonal waifu shit. No appreciation for the classics. Where's the love for mecha? The experimental art? Face it, y'all are basic af.

Liberal civility politics is weird. Unlike conservatives, they're empathetic enough to exonerate anyone's offenses so long as they look good in suit. It's all entertainment where we're supposed to feel bad for the murderous villain that could've had a second chance.
Fuck it, qrt this with your comfort characters, these are some of mine, let’s get a huge qrt snake, copy this caption if you do
