Reflecting on AC2 always feels so surreal because it seems so seldom brought up these days, but at the time this image was so iconic that it was practically the face of gamer culture. In a way it feels nostalgic because those were some of the most exciting times in gaming for me.

I don't think I actually watched Wolf's rain as a kid... but looking at these character designs now I just NEED to.

Did some digging and found out the character designer for Witch Hunter Robin was Kumiko Takahashi, who also did character designs for Unicorn, the 2019 City Hunter movie, and other major titles. That explains why the characters are so pretty!

Damn the origin Zaku II has some crazy articulation. One might say it's "Like a dragon".
