I thought it would be fun to show a bit of my process on bigger illustrations, so here's what I have done so far on the one I'm currently working.
Steps so far:
-super messy sketch
-clean line
-flats (not thinking about light or ambience, just base colors)
-lighting blocking
Are they crashing the met gala? Just eloped in secret? About to take their vip spot in hell? Who knows, they both look stunning anyways 💜
Extra: her familiar Pelusa is a custom creature, a mix between a pseudo dragon and a quasit. Darrian likes to play god with genetics, he's the one who created her. Pelusa means "fuzz ball" in Spanish.
Since I've been posting a lot about my oc Zinnia lately, I figured I might as well do one of those tag things about her so you guys get to know her.
Okay so this is Zane, he works as a demon hunter although he's a demon himself. And with him go Harold the living bag of holding who likes to eat - ahem, store- magic artifacts and Gus, an enchanted squeeze chiken who warns Zane when someone tries to sneak on him from the back. https://t.co/u3bRlyIrFC
Re-take on my warlock Zinnia's familiar, Pelusa. She's a cute cat but not really.
