I spend way too much time on the little details tho... (it's tiring man 😅) so this also marks the start where I tried bit by bit to loosen up my strokes and add more textures to my art.
Just a small progress shot of my #Bloodborne painting "Falling from Cosmos"
No same face syndrome here...or is there?
I need to design new costume, Bloodborne has so many stylish costume opportunities.
Apparently, I haven't made a lot of Bloodborne paintings. Here 4 of them in portrait layout, featuring the same hunter...
I promise there will be more to come! #Bloodborne
Gwynevere, done quite a while back ago (2 years!) and never posted before. I think she can benefit from a little more touch up with my current skill 😏 #darksouls
Then lastly, I tweak the colors using color balance etc. I wanted warm top and cool "bottom" 🤭. On the left is raw unedited colors (the house isn't painted yet there). I hope it sheds some light to my process and you guys enjoy it 😊
Tbh, I dunno how the color will end up, it's all a process of iterations until you're satisfied. So do not fret if you think you dunno what to do, what matters is you continue to practice!
I overlay colors little by little, and also paint opaquely on top, then merging them and painting opaquely again. Its easier to build saturation slowly than desaturate it later. Adding details like the frills only at the very last.
I'm not sure if people notice that the Doll is sitting under the Paleblood's corpse...? 👀
Altho i use 3d base, it still need a lot of paint over to make it blend. As for the gloves, I just kinda wing it along, lazy to look for more refs 😅
