WIP for a print I thought I'd have done in time for Momocon, but at alas... Yesterday I got hit hard by a migraine and it's messed me up so bad. I've got to rest and recover today, so I'll finish this some other time

First - carved out shadows
Second - added shadows
Third - both methods

I think it helps more to study, of course study shadows in general, but looking at the way pro illustrators use value really has me stepping my game up

I do both of these, it really just depends of what makes sense for your brain for the piece
