Drew this a couple years ago when I was still fairly new to digital art. I didn’t even have my iPad yet. I was trying to experiment with textures and brushes.

Panel grab from the next page of KNM. The page is a WIP but I liked this enough to post by itself. Made the BG by layering stock photos of dye swirls, then painting over it with dark purple on a multiply layer

another comparison. the biggest difference between the new version and the old one is that I heavily referenced Gideon's pose. I used ZERO ref for the old one

this panel was always a Videodrome reference even though I hadn't seen it at the time. It's one of my fave movies now, but I'm glad I didn't watch it at 17.
