Rivals of Aether is really fun, but it's definitely a bit hard to learn. I had some really fun matches in Casual Matchmaking though. Casual is a nicer than ranked matchmaking because people will stick around and rematch for long sets

Nameless King, Yhorm the Giant, Oceiros the Consumed King, and Dancer of the Boreal Valley are some of the most memorable bosses and character designs I've encountered across any game

Dark Souls 3 is absolutely phenomenal and worth every second

Oceiros, the consumed king, is one of my favorite characters I've seen in Dark Souls. Excellent boss fight and really interesting lore tidbits throughout the encounter
