Tangela has an interesting design. Other than that, I have no interest in it. It’s gen 4 evolution didn’t really do much for me either.

Exeggcute line is one of the best grass type Pokemon of gen 1 hands down. Really funny how just 6 eggs turns into a tree with legs. Also love the Alolan Exeggutor memes when it was revealed and its design is still funny to me.

The Bellsprout line is awesome! Its design is hilarious and unsettling, which makes it great. Victreebell is my favorite of Team Rocket’s Pokemon in the original series. Did I mention its very strong as well?

I honestly don’t like the Paras line. Paras feels kind of boring and Parasect is just really basic and unappealing. They aren’t very useful in anything besides Spore being its signature move for two generations. I wish TPC gave it some more love!

The Oddish line would seem underwhelming, but I really love this line in general. Vileplume especially is very cute. Also the only Pokemon line that can learn Petal Dance in gen 1, the strongest grass type move in the game.

The Bulbasaur line is honestly one of the best designed starter line of all time. I love how its evolution line starts seamlessly from the early stages of a flower’s life to just grow into a giant flower on a dinosaur. It’s pretty rad. Also best Grass/Poison type of gen 1.
