@ClefdeSoll Wow!!! In that case, it’s definitely quite strong considering how dated it is! My OG pages were hella scrappy before revision, but now that I think about it, the very first page + the first cover page have been relatively unchanged as well… there’s something special about that!

Oh my gosh, for some reason I’ve been really wanting to make some outfit references for my characters and ‘sonas… there’s already a few established ones that I think could use references or extra designing, like Boone’s Partly Cloudy outfit and Romy’s star sweater… BWUHHHH

I ended up “borrowing” the eyepatch from my other self… Maxi the smeargle! — who has always had a simple design I rather liked. And is still an active ‘sona for me, mostly among pokefriends.

The eyepatch on the gog was just a choice that made them feel more like “me” lol

As for the color palette! This was something I played with for a bit. I mostly wanted a palette that was simple, easily replicable and something I could mess around with a lot. You can see how the colors lend themselves quite well to different themes and palettes!

Around the beginning of the year when I was first “trying out” the idea of a new ‘sona, I had a dream where I was wearing a jacket very similar to this one I found online. I ended up getting this jacket and also implementing it into the ‘sona… my “dream jacket”! Hehe!

The obvious result was HYBRID!!! Half of me stayed basset hound — I kept the big goofy ears and little things like the tail pattern.

I chose goat as my second half because it was an animal I already felt a kinship with haha. A bit more of my chaotic side, so to speak!

So anyway yeah, after… about half a year of experimenting with a new design/colors, I finalized my current ‘sona around… June or July? Can’t remember!

In some ways, I consider it more of an “evolution” of my old ‘sona. Keeping things I liked, changing others!

The name of my old fursona was Muddy and the color scheme and design was based mostly off my love of nature/hiking/the mountains. Naturally, I went with a lot of earth tones because of that.

Lotta the art I did/commissioned with this fursona was nature-inspired too.

@TheBlazingGlory Maybe if she squints hard enough through her telescope, she’ll find the crew! Then she can watch them from SlumberTown. Basically like reading a webcomic in real time, within another webcomic.
