Might be late when it comes to news. But it's really sad about hearing about Akira Toriyama's passing.
I'm only alright at pixel art. so i give my time to attempt and understand on how to draw Goku and Vegeta somehow.

Here's for the comparison of the previous sprite and the rework one as well.

Hope it's fine for a revision. Did some minor changes (very few), and added another one which I've forgot to put it earlier somehow. i guess most are now there lol.
