I needed a picture, not a simple photo of Tobey Maguire, so I drew a portrait based on the face I drew before.

It is a bit rough, but it is for a very small image, it's not THAT important to have some weird things on the painting. I wanted it to be made quickly.

I painted a metal texture to the "eye lines" added some lights to the webs.

Then I painted a quick city landscape, with a sky inside the eyes, and added some lines, played with layer modes to make it more like a reflective surface

added some last corrections with filters and things, and we have it !

Finally I painted the webs, with a yellow/orange color. It is a reference to the promotional posters from the 2 first movie with this kind of really bright yellow

Tobey have probably the hardest face to "cartoonize" I had to draw in my entire life as an illustrator, and it's even more difficult to make it into this particular artstyle.

I based almost everything on this first picture
