@Malu35727219 There used to be a sort of scale in how detailed I drew the hair, with barely any to basically what it is now. But at some point, I decided I liked it with more detail and here we are now.
@MegaMoo72_ You've been around for most of my art progression(?). The first time I did the shading style I use now were with these pictures and I told myself (because it was coming up that year) that if I went through Art Fight using that style and liked it, I'd continue with it.
@MOONTOURlSM My brush size actually continuously got smaller. It started at 5px and now it's at 2px.
I think it worked fine back when I did cel-shading, but the heaviness doesn't fit well with my current shading.
@ivanlychkov The closest thing I think I've done to post-processing was with an alternate art style I did in the past was a very light motion blur multiply layer. Honestly, I can't think of anything the would actually fit my art. It's not meant for glow-ups haha
@Blackquill13 You probably already know this, but there was actually a point in time when I tried to do more with the hair to make it stand out more WITH the eyes. So I added a highlight streak that matched with the eye color.
@TheRealestUne I've always gravitated toward more angular approaches in my art. I couldn't really tell you why, it's just aesthetically pleasing to me. By now, it's really customary for me to add sharper edges. Even in the past, with less defined hair, it was there.
