I have a bit of advice for anyone animating their own work:

1. Think of your style and if it works

2. Guage your abilities properly

3. Build the animation's roughs based on your abilities

4. Do the most complex parts first

5. seek help to speed up the work if needed

Every time I hear about some new dbz style I feel the urge to go "boy, where you been?" No joke, I'm only happy that goku with gray eyes got phased out within about 2 years after kai started.
