Found some WIP shots of this spread from Uncanny X-Men #1. You’ll notice that X-23 is wearing something else on the original art. I had to correct the costume digitally. The colours are by Rachelle Rosenberg

A digital ink study over a Conan sketch by John Buscema.

Inspired by some peers doing this, I thought it would be nice to practice some of my digital drawing skills over one my biggest inspirations. Hard to capture Buscema’s spirited lines but this was fun.
