Dark Ages from @BoardAndDice is dope. It’s a Civilization style board game that uses Area Control mixed with Tableau Building and Point Salad style scoring to create a very satisfying experience. If you like Sid Meier’s Civ, Eclipse or other style games you’ll dig this!

Underwater Cities: New Discoveries is finally getting to the table & I’m very optimistic. Love the gameplay of the original but had issues with Kelp strategy being strong, especially if players pulled off the combo featured below. Look forward to the 40+ new cards and variants!

Essen is next week. Going to talk about some games I think you might consider. First, Glen More II: Chronicles @FuntailsGames Production/art are well done, and the same great gameplay shines through. Excited to try the other 6 modules and then mash them all together! #essen2019

Abomination @PlaidHatGames looks macabre as hell and I love it, but why do I have to wait until summer to get a copy, that's just painful! Going to give it a spin @originsgames for sure, I do love board games that are able to pull off a darker tone! #origins2019

Did I mention that we got to see the entire map of #SleepingGods from @RedRavenGame and @ryanlaukat at GAMA! This is my #3 Most Anticipated Game of 2019 and what he told us has me incredibly excited! I know Ryan's love of video game worlds, and the parallels here are amazing!

If I knew this existed, it would have easily hit my Top Anticipated Games of the Year list. As it stands though, @AlexxPfister is one of my All-Time Favorite Board Game Designers and I am incredibly excited to play this one @Capstone_Games! #boardgames
