The end is near, I guess. I could list all that I want to accomplish next year, but who knows what'll happen. I just wish that whatever comes, I'll learn something from it, and that there'll be tons of artistic and personal improvement in it. ✨️

Been changing my process a lot lately. I'm enjoying the exploration but would like to have more finished stuff as well. Guess that's a conflict that never goes away, trying new things vs. producing consistent work. We'll see where it goes!

This is the last one I've done in a more painterly style. Soon after I decided to try using more linework and I'm enjoying it a lot. Next week I'll share some of those. I also got a new pen display recently which makes drawing way more comfortable. 😊

There's so much to explore and learn and so little time... No matter how much you grow, it'll never end. But when you look back, you can see that today was once a dream, and that whatever happens tomorrow, it'll be worth the ride.

No matter how many people are around us, we're always alone in our own mind. That's why no one can understand us completely, and why we need to get to know ourselves well. Creativity is a fantastic mirror to see who we are more clearly.

We all have moments when we feel free, when we fall back into that sense of adventure. Then we think again about shoulds and shouldn'ts and it all seems to vanish. But it's always there, and creating seems to be one of the best reminders.

There's something expressive and atmospheric that I love about poses that tend to seem unnatural. Maybe they only look weird because they represent what we usually keep to ourselves, what we're not used to see.

When we started it wasn't hard. We didn't have to fight procrastination because it didn't feel like work. But then we created all these expectations and sucked the joy out of it. Always remember why you started.

We’re rarely happy with what we create. I certainly ain't. But the point is not to create a masterpiece. It's to look back a few years from now and be proud of how much you've grown. The point is to keep going, no matter what.

I often try to control how my drawings turn out instead of focusing on the process and letting their expression evolve naturally. We do this to ourselves as well, and then we wonder why we feel so stressed out.
