Here's another #tbt as prompted by @GaiaBordicchia I used to do a lot of maps featured for Easy Jet's in-flight magazine. These are all from August - Dec 2011

This was peak Kiraz, Uesugi influence. Hadn't learned perspective yet (everything was traced)

Surprising myself with these details

Having a play with this pixel filter and it's honestly what some of my screen-prints have ended up looking like :-D This Firefly cover looks like a cut-scene from a Mega Drive game, just missing the text scroll

Colour is mad. Man. These stripes to me register as an orange hue. They are actually a dark desaturated green/blue.

I made an orange swatch that loosely reflects how I see it in context. Brain hurts

What date do the beer gardens open?

I've been looking forward to painting this guy

It's cool when stuff starts to come together

Monotone palette for now. Probably need to re-paint that face, who wants to pose for me? #wip
