I'm drawing Sarah Paulson, whom I last drew in 2013 for the New Yorker. Side by side. Still love the mark making on the older piece.
Was nervous about the drapery, but I think it's ok? Keeping it a single value and focusing on the shapes, so the foreground gets the most attention.
At some point I'll just switch to painting still life. Rag and bucket. Bowl. Super interesting an introspective.
