Originally, stars were plotted as luminosity against COLOR, and by color I mean the wavelength of the peak intensity 〰️

You would have short wavelengths on the left, and long ones on the right. This is standard convention in wavelength science.

The animals are all digitally hand drawn in Photoshop ✍️🏻While it was a lot of work (~2 weeks), I had a lot of fun doing it. I used some 3D models from as references, since you can turn the models around within a browser to get the lighting + angles you need.

I really enjoyed visiting 's rendition of homo bodoensis (left) and wanted to give it a go (right). I'm by no means a paleoartist (there is likely some minutia that an anthropologist will cry at) but I really enjoyed the creative process here ☺️
