This is by Mill Bank Weir be Henley On the Thames. The water lillies are in flowing water, I took this photo one morning about 3 years ago and today thought I would turn it into a watercolour. Usual Schmincke and Millford.

Here are the stages of my watercolour, Egret in the Estuary. There was more flow and movement in the water as I looked out so I used what I saw rather than my photo. Fascinating to watch them fishing as the tides swirls in.
