0-6km bulk shear 35-40 kts should be enough to generate some beefier storms. However, as I mentioned earlier this morning, low-to-mid level speed shear could be a lot better.

Result is a nice, narrow area of moderate CAPE with a fairly sharp northern gradient along the boundary. Would be an excellent place for storms to develop and latch onto around/just south of the Hagerstown-Frederick corridor.
