#throwback time 'Bruce' 46 x 36 cm - #colouredpencil and #pencil #drawing

This commission was produced in May 2016, and is one of my favourite commissions of a dog. I had a request to photograph Bruce myself which happens occasionally. I drove out to near Chatteris in the Cambs

Now framed at the Hall of Frames #belper for my King's Lynn client.

The primrose is taking shape in its surroundings. I've photographed soil and walls to get the character right. I'm making the limestone, moss, grass and any of the setting up using the photographs as a kind of loose reference.
