The Macc Art Lounge in the Grosvenor Shopping Centre, Macclesfield, opens Saturday, Monday and Tuesday 11am to 4pm. I've got several original oils and prints on sale there, alongside work from Ingrid Katarina Karlsson, Diane Nevitt, Ché Finch, Paul Lloyd and John Eastwood.

Working on some new 600dpi artwork for my old album The Spiral Staircase. Perhaps this deserves a proper CD or book release.

Working on experimental refinements to my game Taskforce for a few days. Even without any new models a lot can be done with new textures alone.

Finally getting there with my album artwork. The whole thing has been such hard work, but very pleased with it all. Each aspect must be the best I can make it.

To @CastleParkArt today to deliver this, Nine Ladies Weeping. One of my best paintings I think, it depicts the Nine Ladies stone circle, and its mirror version in the Celtic Underworld. The phoenix was added at the end and adds to the enigmatic feel. The open runs Nov 9 - Dec 22.

Three more paintings on sale for October. The Death of King Charles I is an early surrealist work with lots of imagery. Reframed in 2017 with a solid wood frame in a Jacobean Oak style. These are £200, £175, £175.

Art isn't always easy to make, in fact it's always very difficult, but art can connect us in emotional ways that are perhaps deeper, more timeless and perhaps more important than mere ideology. Must remember this. Must keep aiming high.
