Throwback to a piece from 2019, which is probably still one of the more complex examples of frankensteining a character I ever worked on. Each limb of that lady comes from a different model! 🤦

A few years back I painted a four seasons series - with simple backgrounds, one botched attempt at painting hands and ladies-only cast.
I decided I want to take another shot at the theme - also because simple backgrounds and portraits are the bull's eye of my comfort zone 😂
2016 -> 2018 -> 2020 -> 2021. What would you say to yourself from five years ago? I'd say that hey, progress is possible - but also that learning requires focus and attention.
(...and maybe that I shouldn't overuse the sharpening filter so much). 😀
