Which leaves us with my shortlist. This, in imitation of Fougasse's famous WW2 poster, is both beautifully wrought & very very clever, as is this Scarfean pastiche from @BenChilton, who's a formidable bloody cartoonist as it happens...

There's more than a hint of Alfred E Neumann from Mad Magazine to the majestic @robdoylecouk's entry, and of something that's dropped out of a cat to @JeremyWDunn's. Also love @deuxbottles' objet trouve Nutjob Zuck, & here's a pensive Eloi Zuck from the great @nickymonkey

Meanwhile, @bainescartoons opted for full on filth - we applaud gratefully for that - and @DjbSackett's back to those weird weird eyes - and Zucky's absent soul. @Crap_Portraits's entry is strangely uncrap - DO try harder - but has the creepy eyes, as does @cartoonsidrew
